My curiosity plant this week is the Gray Birch. I used
iNaturalist to find it. The Gray Birch pr Betula pubescens from the Betulaceae family. The Gray
Birch is native to the Northeast, from Delaware up through coastal Nova Scotia,
and has a habitat of poor soil and grows in woodland areas. The tree has white peeling back and is commonly used in landscaping.
