My curioity plant this week is the Prunus laurocerasus or the
Cherry Laurel from the Rosaceae family. While actually not even a
laurel, Prunus laurocerasus was names that because of its similarities
to the laurel family. The native region is countries neighboring the
Black Sea, such as Turkey, Albania, Bulgaria and Iran. Some key
characteristics of the plant are the interesting flowers that originally
caught my eye.
