In one of my other classes, there was a segment where we went through
the gardens down by the life sciences building to look at PNW native
species and the buds forming on this plant caught my eye. The plant was
labeled as a Ranunculus recurvatus or Blisterwort from the Ranunculaceae family. The Blisterwort is native to Eastern United States and Canada. It turns out that the Blisterwort is also poisonous to human consumption..
