Week 8 - Mock-orange (Philadelphus lewisii) FD13

Mock-orange or Philadelphus lewisii is a small tree from the Hydrangeaceae family. The tree is native to the West Coast and Pacific Northwest, British Columbia down to California, across Washington and into Montana, and has fragrant white flowers and simple opposite leaves. Some ecological adaptations are being very fire resistant and to be able to vegitively reproduce after a fire or other disturbance.
