Week 9 - Common Beech (Fagus sylvatica) FD15


The Common Beech is a tree from the Fagaceae family, native to Europe from the Scandinavian countries down to Italy. This tree has dark shiny green leaves and has triangle shaped nuts. This tree is adapted to be able to grow slower when there is less available light and is able to grow in low-nutrient soil.
