My curiosity plant is from my side yard and I realized I never knew what it is. Using iNaturalist I found out it’s a Platycladus orientalis or a Chinese thuja. Platycladus orientalis is the only species in the genus Platycladus and is apart of the Cupressaceae family. It is native to North and East China. I think it’s a cool plant and I like the colored tips, it almost reminds me of a Juniper.
