Week 9 - Japanese Snowbell Tree (Styrax japonicus) FD15

 

The Japanese Snowbell Tree is a small deciduous tree from the Styracaceae family. The tree is native to China, Korea and Japan. Some features of this tree are the fleshy drupe fruit and white bell shaped flowers. This tree is adapted to be pollinated by bees and the fruit is eaten by creatures then seeds are distributed.
