Week 3 - Subalpine Fir (Abies lasiocarpa) FD3

The Subalpine Fir from the Pinaceae family is an evergreen tree native to the Northern America in subalpine regions. The tree has needles with flat linear leaves that are blueish gree and has woody cones. The tree is adapted to really harsh mountain conditions and is able to sexually reproduce because of the cold shortening the growing season.
